Guided Environmental Excursions

Hands-on opportunities to support K-8 students

Join an experienced ACE Ed environmental educator for an hour or more exploring the wonders of nature at Agapé while expanding your classroom experience! It’s a perfect way to get a little extra knowledge in a fun way as a family or individuals. Our learning lab is over 600 acres, come and explore!

Who Is Invited?

Families, individuals, school clubs, youth groups (children must be accompanied by an adult)

Group Size?

Maximum # of 9 people (includes accompanying adults)/group. Multiple groups may make reservations on the same day, but will be separate from any other groups.

Dress appropriately for current weather conditions and outdoor activity. Pre-registration is required; so hurry and reserve your space!

ACE Education is available on a small scale to supplement classroom content with hands-on outdoor experiences. These topics are aligned with the NC Standard Course of Study, and will supplement the classroom learning experience. All topics are Science-based except those noted as Social Studies.   • 1 - 1.5 hours: $80
  • 2 - 2.5 hours: $130
  • 3 - 3.5 hours: $175
  • Each additional hour: $35

Protocols practiced during these Nature Hikes will be in step with the NC Governor’s Phased opening guidelines. It will involve social distancing, masks, washing hands, and not sharing equipment.
