Agapé † Kure Beach Ministries Is Seeking A New ACE Education Director
Agape † Kure Beach Ministries (A†KB) is searching for a dynamic and innovative leader:
- To play a key role in developing and leading an on-site program of environmental education for summer campers, retreat guests, schools and members of the community.
- To share our mission of teaching creation stewardship and making that mission a vital part of our hospitality ministry.
- To be an active part of a team ministry that seeks to provide excellence and guest satisfaction as we work to meet the programmatic needs of those we serve using the Agapé † Kure Beach Ministries mission statement as our guide.
Camp Agape is located in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, 50 minutes from downtown Raleigh. The camp sits on 624 acres of beautiful rolling hills, 12 miles of hiking trails, cascading streams, and diverse forests on the banks of the Cape Fear River. The Agape Center for Environmental Education is also located onsite as part of our mission to engage all people with the care of God’s creation.

ACE Education seeks to build awareness and appreciation in North Carolina (NC) school students and guests through hands-on experiences aimed to encourage responsible decision-making and care of the natural world.

Through the "Reach 100" challenge, A†KB hopes to assist campers in financial need as well as provide each child with a positive and lasting impression of their value as a child of God.
Statistics show that resident summer camp experiences improve self-confidence, communication skills, problem solving, and help children learn how to play creatively with others. All of these things impact values and build better leaders in our community. It is our desire to be leaders in building a new hope for children in our community.
A gift of any size will help us provide for kids who need to spend time with a great Christian Role model in a safe environment.
