Agapé † Kure Beach Ministries Is Seeking A New Program & Retreat Director
Agape † Kure Beach Ministries (A†KB) is searching for a dynamic and innovative leader to guide and shape the future of programming at our camping and outdoor ministry sites to impact individual lives, communities, and the wider world. This person will lead the team, living out and implementing the programmatic vision of A†KB. This vision will be created in collaboration with the Executive Director, A†KB Board of Directors, and A†KB’s constituency of supporters. This mission calls for a creative and engaging leader who loves camping and outdoor ministry and is excited to discover what they can be.
The Agape Kure Beach Ministries (A†KB) Director of Program and Retreat Ministry will lead the A†KB team in meeting the following goals…
- Leading summer camp staff to deliver a safe and impactful experience for all campers.
- Creating and leading fall and spring programming for all ages.
- Delivering holy hospitality to all guests using the A+KB sites and helping them meet their community and personal goals.

- Meet the holistic needs of guests by providing quality programs and facilities
- Be a welcoming place where hospitality is central to guest experiences
- Challenge staff and volunteers to live as role models of Christ in daily life
- Teach creation stewardship in word and action

Through the "Reach 100" challenge, A†KB hopes to assist campers in financial need as well as provide each child with a positive and lasting impression of their value as a child of God.
Statistics show that resident summer camp experiences improve self-confidence, communication skills, problem solving, and help children learn how to play creatively with others. All of these things impact values and build better leaders in our community. It is our desire to be leaders in building a new hope for children in our community.
A gift of any size will help us provide for kids who need to spend time with a great Christian Role model in a safe environment.
