Executive Director
Agapé † Kure Beach Ministries (A†KB Ministries) of North Carolina seeks applications for an Executive Director. This position will be responsible for the management of the ministry and property of A†KB Ministries, which includes a 624-acre main camp 45 minutes outside of the NC capital, Raleigh. A†KB Ministries is open year-round and offers a traditional seven-week summer program for children as well as both programmed events and facility rentals.
Food Service Manager
Agapé † Kure Beach Ministries (A†KB Ministries) of North Carolina seeks applications for a Food Service Manager. This full-time, salaried position will be responsible for all aspects of the food service program at Camp Agapé. The start date for this position is October 25th. Team Leader
At least 21 years of age. Responsibilities – Manage a team of 2-6 counselors each week. Facilitate planning, set-up, guidance, community and support for all staff in your assigned program. Team Leaders are a resource for counselors, and communication skills are essential. Be part of a small staff community and share in community-living responsibilities. Shape lives and “make a difference” while having the best time of your life.
Support Staff Team Leader:
Responsible for overseeing the support staff (typically late High School age staff), their schedules and assisting them where needed.
Counselor Onsite/Day Camp
At least 19 years of age with one year of college or work experience. Responsibilities - To live in a small group with 6-8 campers as their guide and role model for the week onsite; work off-site with children 1st-5th, 6th-8th at Day Camp (M-F 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Half of each counselor’s summer weeks will likely be spent working a Day Camp. Lead Bible studies, worship, recreation, crafts, songs, and creative fun (we will train you for this!). Be part of a small staff community and share in community-living responsibilities. Shape lives and “make a difference” while having the best time of your life.
Support Staff
Preferred age of 17 but applicants age 16 will be considered. Responsibilities – Our support staff keeps everything moving at camp. Each support staff member will be assigned a role (photographer/tech, archery instructor, lifeguard, store manager, craft leader, pack-out leader, etc.) based on skills and preference, but all support staff are also kitchen staff helping to prep meals, serve when needed, and clean up after. Build relationships with all campers by seeing and doing a little bit of everything at camp! Be part of a small staff community and share in community-living responsibilities. Volunteer Health Care Supervisor
Professional health care providers (nurses, doctors, EMT’s, etc.) to help us provide excellence in health care this summer. Summer camp sessions are week long (Sunday afternoon to Friday afternoon).
